Sniipit is a brand new online tool that makes it possible to save very easily quotes or ideas found during your wanderings on the Web.
A clever service that allows you to put aside in one click and two movements this quote spotted in an article or this other idea seen in an interview and that we did not take the time to note or transcribe. Sniipit will offer you a smart notebook for a curation of important quotes.
A simple curation tool for quotes that inspire you and that you can then use in your courses or work. Sniipit allows you to keep, but also to share your favorite quotes. You can do this again with a click, both by email and on social media.
The use is simple. No user manual is required to use Sniipit. Just create an account by providing an email and password. You have immediate access to your citation book. A beautiful graphical interface and good ergonomics that will contribute to the pleasure of creating a list of quotes that inspire you.
There are two ways to add a quote to your personal notebook. The first is to do it manually. You click on the "more" button and fill in the proposed fields. Quote, source or author, and if you want tags to be able to find it better. The second solution offered by Sniipit is even faster. You can indeed on Chrome install an extension to your browser. Thus, on any web page, highlight the passage of your choice and then right-click and in the drop-down menu that appears choose Sniipit. The selected excerpt will be immediately added to your citation book and all fields will be automatically filled in by the extension. Practical.
By clicking on the three small dots that appear under each quote, You can share it on Twitter or Facebook.
The tool is still under development. In the long term, it should propose from traditional functions to this kind of social tool. You will be able to share your citation books with other users of the service. You will be able to follow people who inspire you and be followed by people who like your quotes.
Sniipit is a nice little utility to put aside and have quotes under your elbow that you find interesting. Under the elbow or in the pocket since the service works very well on your smartphone to allow you to consult or create a quote in mobility.
