Fotobabble is a very simple to use online tool that will allow you to put sound behind a photo and then share it easily. Kinds of sound photos.

It is a fairly old but still useful service. The idea is to make a photo speak. This can give rise to many uses in the context of the inverted classroom or in image-centered student work.
Fotobabble is very easy to handle. Simply register on the service to access a dashboard in which all your babbles will be grouped together. To create one, you need to upload an image from your computer or tell the service a URL if it's online.
You can then add a description and one or more tags. Finally, you will define whether your sound photo will be public or private. Fotobabble will then ask you to access the microphone on your computer. After accepting, all you have to do is press the record button and start talking.

Registration can last up to one minute. An ideal time to keep the attention of an audience looking at a still image. Don’t worry, if you sulk or aren’t happy with the recording, you can start over.
Then all that remains is to publish. You can then share your sound photo by email, on social networks or on a website or blog with an HTML code to insert.
You can use Fotobabble to send a sound postcard to the next green class, explain a photo to students, ask a group to do research, and commenting on an image... The uses are infinite.
Fotobabble accepts JPG, PNG and GIF images and is used from a modern browser. Note that the service also offers an application for iPhone that allows you to create sound photos and view them in mobility.
Fotobabble is free.
