SlideRule is a powerful Quality online course search engine.
With the explosion of MOOCS, online training is becoming more and more numerous and it is becoming more and more difficult to find a shoe at your feet. SlideRule comes at the right time by offering an online course search engine that lists a large part of the current offer.
SlideRule acts as a classic search engine, except that here it is exclusively dedicated to the search for online courses.
SlideRule lists and indexes online courses on more than 30 specialized platforms. The most serious are there and in particular those that are supported by prestigious universities: Coursera, Code School, Open Yale and other MIT Online … The online course search engine claims more than 17,000 courses covering all possible fields (arts, business, economics, languages, computer science …)
Especially fast, SlideRule shows you the results of a search in a second. Results that you will filter or classify according to several criteria to choose from. Depending on the subject, the platform offering it, the university or the prize. SlideRule offers both free and paid courses in its results.
Each mooc is presented in a very clear way with all the necessary information: Start date, level, video presentation, synopsis, pre-requisite, type of certificate provided, etc. SlidRule also offers a system of assessments of people who have taken the course, in the form of comments. Practical.
Also practice the possibility of adding a course to a list of favorites to then be able to find it easily.
Registration is free and is done in two clicks three movements. A good resource for anyone looking for online courses to drag into their favorites. Only a small regret the vast majority of indexed prices are in English, but this is only a reflection of the state of the MOOCS market.

Hello,
There is only one criterion missing (but, in my opinion, one of size), that of the language in which those courses are taught. (possibly several languages in the case of subtitled video courses and multilingual media).
It is clear that if I am interested in a quantum physics course but it is taught in Mandarin, the interest of my enrollment immediately takes a hit. Unless there is a course in English to learn Mandarin and just before a course in French to learn English.
Under these conditions, I will enroll in the quantum physics course in 2016 at the bottom of …
(Okay, I'm twirling around a little, but only a little)
Just a little … for the 😉 troll.
But you are right, this is one of the major flaws of this resource. I just spoke to one of the site’s creators by email during the day. He is very pleased with the impact of the Tice Tools ticket in the French-speaking world.
I am sure that your comment will not fall on deaf ears. Thank you for your reaction.
I too find it a real pity that this search engine speaks only English and that language cannot be selected as the search criterion for MOOCs. The French pronounce MOOC:[muk], the Italians:[mok]. Funny, isn't it?
