What is Forindustrie, the Extraordinary Universe?

What are the words that come to mind when talking about industry? How many industrial trades could you name? Probably not "digital", "energy transition" or "boilermaker". And yet, the industry is modernising, recruiting and training everywhere in France.

Forindustrie, the Extraordinary Universe offers a pedagogical and innovative metaverse to help students discover its potential and dynamism. Every year, the tool is enriched thanks to the hundred industrial and institutional partners it brings together, which allows it to show with authenticity the new realities of the sector.

Through hundreds of business videos, quizzes and exchanges with professionals from partner companies, the industries of several regions – Hauts-de-France, Normandy, Île-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Méditerranée (Occitanie, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica) – as well as those of the energy transition at national level, in all regions of France. And, as a novelty this year, a Burgundy-Franche-Comté island will be open to exploration in the world of energy transition.

This year, ‘In pursuit of Doctor Déboulon’ sets the stage for a new story that reflects on the future of this strategic sector and its challenges. The new version of Forindustrie, the Extraordinary Universe, has been available since 8 September.

Labelled Industry Week, this project is built with National Education and receives support from With Industry.
