Scoledge is an online platform that allows create a collaborative space between a teacher and his students.
It is a kind of an original social network dedicated to education that brings together all the functionalities specific to working with a group or class of students. It manages all exchanges for the follow-up of a training course or a distance learning course or complements the presentation of an online space dedicated to communication and collaborative work.
Some leading business or engineering schools are already using it to facilitate exchanges between teachers and students. The project, supported by four young people on the Alsace side, continues to evolve continuously and improves over the months.
The online version seems to have matured. Scoledge can manage exchanges between a teacher and his students as well as those of an entire school or training center.
Scoledge once activated allows you to set up a collaborative workspace that you will be able to structure as you wish. You will be able to create groups and enroll your students, manage and publish a schedule, record absences, disseminate information for an entire group, use instant messaging. You can also share online resources or documents.
Scoledge also allows you to create and offer online courses. This module is particularly successful. Far from the gas plants of some tools of the same kind, Scoledge offers a simple and elegant text editor with which you will be able to write pleasant courses to read and consult. You will be able to insert multimedia add-ons simply whether photos, files or videos. You will be able to build a personal archive of all your courses. Courses but also exercises that will be related to them. Creating a MCQ with Scoledge, for example, is child’s play.
The platform will save you time and avoid endless exchanges by email with your students thanks to a dedicated space where your students will come to drop off their homework. Scoledge’s interface is particularly clear and makes it possible to organise and centralise its work and communication with the different classes and groups of pupils.
On the student side, Scoledge offers the functions of a private social network that should appeal to young users.. They will be able to communicate with each other and with their groups. They will also be able to interact with their teacher in a well-structured interface. The tool also offers an adjustable notification system so as not to miss anything that happens on the platform.
Scoledge offers a free version for teachers and students but you have to ask the platform to reference your school in order to register. The tool also offers a comprehensive school offer to use the tool across an entire school. In this case the price is 1 EUR per user per month.

Updated Nov 2017. The platform has changed its name. It is now called Atolia. By the way, it offers a service dedicated to companies and is available in two versions Atolia Entreprise and Atolia Éducations.
