The large modern web browsers we use every day have a lot of qualities and also some flaws. And among them the unfortunate habit of juggling our personal data and surfing habits on the web. How to escape it? By digging into the different preferences of software or by adding extensions and other plug-ins to protect yourself from the curiosity of real data vacuums.

Chromium is a free alternative to Google's Chrome. It is the latter which is inspired by the former and not the other way round. Chromium is a free web browser project that dates back to 2008. It is not greedy unlike chrome for your personal data and browsing habits. Faster than Firefox according to specialists, it is also said to be a little less stable and suffers from a past where clever minds had introduced a virus that bore its name in versions circulating on download sites. The third thief in this short list Cliqz commits not to collect any of your personal data, and includes all the basic features for protecting your privacy. The browser incorporates a clean and fully configurable search engine that allows, among other things, to make fully anonymous searches. Like these two friends, Cliqz is free.
