Order<\/strong> <\/a>is a truly magical application. It allows you to launch an ultra-fast search in a personal search engine on all your documents and records present on your computer but also on many sites and online services. I installed it more than a year ago on my two computers, I do not see how I could do without it now. Forget the hours spent uncovering that damn document you put somewhere but you don't remember exactly where \u2026 was.<\/p>\n

A magical keyboard shortcut to find everything<\/h2>\n

Command E is the magic keyboard shortcut to remember. Believe me, you may not forget it after a few uses as it will be useful to you on a daily basis. Once installed on your Mac or PC, it will be enough to make Command + E to instantly launch the search window for this information finder. Command E is a kind of alternative search engine<\/a> which does not search on the web, but in your own files.<\/p>\n

Command seeks (and finds) everywhere. It looks in your documents and applications on your hard drive but even more useful, it will also look in many online services Google, Evernote, Dropbox, Notion, etc. The search is also done on your emails, your contacts, your browser, your favorites \u2026<\/p>\n

However, you will have to open the door by connecting to the different services that you want to see indexed in your personal search engine.<\/p>\n

A powerful, fast and efficient personal search engine<\/h2>\n

You will be surprised at the power of Command. When you launch a search, it is done at the speed of light. The results are displayed almost instantly. The tool indexes the names of files and documents but also the full text content. It is thus possible to find a Word document or a PDF even if the title is no longer remembered as long as one or more words are typed in the text. Practical. It also works for the content of an email.<\/p>\n

The search window offers several tabs. The search is performed everywhere by default, however, each tab corresponds to one of the indexed services and you can launch your query from each of them.<\/p>\n

The results are displayed as a list. A small icon allows you to immediately identify the nature of the file. Icon of the application with which it was created or of the service hosting it. One click and the file launches.<\/p>\n
