Far, far away from the cinematographic caricatures, the greasy and easy laughs, the stupidity and contempt that flow from some films called mainstream touted by TV trash shows, I highly recommend you a true film festival like no other<\/strong>. A real jewel to preserve and promote.<\/p>\n

All the light on SEGPA<\/strong><\/a> is a festival of short films made by pupils in general and vocational education. Every year for more than ten years, eight classes from eight colleges in the Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne department make a short film with their teachers and professional speakers. More than 200 teenagers take part in a rich and rewarding educational adventure.<\/p>\n

This project, beyond the knowledge and skills mobilised, allows students to discover themselves and the world, to express themselves and feel valued as individuals, spectators and citizens.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

All films are online and freely searchable by all. There are real little jewels here, the fruit of child labour and the investment of the adults who accompany them. They all give off a beautiful light from a youth that deserves much better than the crude caricatures you see in the cinema.<\/p>\n

\"SEGPA<\/p>\n

A film festival built on an ambitious educational project<\/h2>\n

The main objective of this project, read on the website of the festival \u2018Tout la lumi\u00e8re sur les SEGPA\u2019 (All the light on SEGPA), is to promote the educational path in SEGPA and the students through a major artistic and cultural project. A project that is reminiscent of the Senez High School Cinema Project in H\u00e9nin Beaumont<\/a> for general education.<\/p>\n

In all, forty hours are devoted to the project for each participating class. A busy time made up of three great moments.
\nFirst a discovery of cinema as a spectator and then through techniques, materials and vocabulary. This leads to the design and scripting of the short film project they wish to produce. The final stage is the making and production of the film, from writing to editing, filming and taking of his \u2026.<\/p>\n

The benefits of the festival for the young people participating in it are spectacular, according to what the teachers say. In addition to the concrete discovery of audiovisual professions, \u2018Tout la lumi\u00e8re sur les SEGPA\u2019 allows them to live an intensely rewarding artistic and cultural project and to give meaning to learning through the mediation of video.
