Mapfaire is a Tice tool that allows create a map online very easily<\/strong>\u00a0by customizing it with landmarks.<\/p>\n

There are several tools of this type, but Mapfaire stands out by its ease of implementation and use<\/strong>. This online utility uses Google Maps mapping. You can choose to create either a classic 2D map or a satellite view.<\/p>\n

This has been said to be easier to use. You navigate either by mouse and then using the zoom bar to choose the dimension or by typing a specific location or address at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n

Once the area is located, all you have to do is place the landmarks you want by clicking on the \u2018Add a point\u2019 command at the bottom right of your map. Each point can be captioned<\/strong>. This caption may contain text and links as you wish. You can even format this text by following the syntax you will find on this page.\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Visitors to your map will see your legend appear by clicking on the landmarks.<\/p>\n

Navigating from one point to another on your map can be quite convenient with a list of created points displayed at the top left of your map. You will be able to move from one point to another of your landmarks with a simple click.<\/p>\n

Once satisfied with your creation, you need to save your card. Mapfaire provides you a unique url that you will be able to share as you see fit.<\/strong> If you register on the service, you will be able to keep track of all your cards so that you can then modify them as you wish.<\/p>\n
