Students can prepare an exhibition, create awareness posters, write a logbook, debate plastic waste or devise solutions to better protect the ocean.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ce_que_jaime_dans_ce_kit_pedagogique_sur_la_mer\"><\/span><b>What I like about this educational kit on the sea<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The great strength of La Course Bleue is its <\/span><b>anchoring in a real adventure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We do not start from an abstract discourse on the environment. We start from a boat, a crew, a crossing, a map and concrete questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I also like the fact that the device is free of charge, the variety of media and the consistency with the programmes. The teacher can draw a card, project a video, use a quiz or build a real interdisciplinary project. No need to take everything. You don't have to turn your class into a sailing school either.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One point to note: the device is aimed mainly at cycles 2 and 3. College teachers may be able to adapt some content, but this is not the main target displayed.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mon_avis_sur_La_Course_Bleue\"><\/span><b>My opinion of La Course Bleue<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>The Blue Race<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an original, well-constructed device with the intelligence not to forget the reality on the ground. It can be used simply, with a map to be projected, a video to be commented on or a questionnaire to be proposed. It can also be made a more ambitious project around environmental education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its originality lies in this successful mix between <\/span><b>maritime adventure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>awareness-raising on ocean protection<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Students follow a race, get attached to a boat, discover life at sea, and gradually understand why the ocean is a fragile environment that needs to be preserved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some teachers will find subject to an interdisciplinary project over several weeks. Others will only use one fiche to launch a debate on plastic waste.
