Unishared<\/strong> is an online tool that will revolutionize the way you or your students will take notes in a course, conference or seminar.<\/p>\n

Unishared makes it possible to take notes collaboratively<\/strong> on a single shared Google Doc document. That's quite a good idea. Several people can take notes together on a single document during a course or after. They can also add comments on margins and chat via an integrated chat system.<\/p>\n

But that is not all. The real good idea of Unishared is the Possibility to share your courses with the whole world<\/strong>. This tool shatters the walls of the class or amphi by connecting them with the outside. By making their notes public, everyone will be able to benefit the whole earth from the knowledge transmitted in a course. And if you want, you can also allow people on the other side of the world to comment on or complete your notes.<\/p>\n

One could thus dream of a world university of knowledge freely shared through the notes of students or teachers. Using the service is very simple. After a quick registration, you can either view notes created by other users or create your first note.<\/p>\n

When creating a course, you can choose 3 levels of confidentiality:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 modification: other users can act on the document<\/p>\n

\u2022 comment: other users cannot edit the document, but they can annotate it<\/p>\n

\u2022 consultation: neither modification nor comment, the document is simply accessible for reading<\/p>\n

You can also invite people to collaborate directly by email. The Unishared project is free and has a well-deserved rapid development.<\/p>\n

Using Google Docs technology, you have access to the classic functions of automatic backup of the document<\/strong> and the possibility of to display revisions and previous versions of the same document.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the side of flaws, since we have to find some, I do not like this new mode that is spreading on the web 2 and which consists of registering for a service via its Facebook credentials. Rather annoying especially when the designers give you no other choice to sign up. Facebook or nothing, sometimes you want to answer: Nothing.<\/p>\n

In the classroom.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Unishared is a good TICE tool for Introduce the concept of collaborative work in and out of the classroom<\/strong>. In addition to taking notes in progress, the tool is also particularly useful for allowing students to work together on a homework assignment or presentation. On the teacher\u2019s side, you will be able to explore the construction of a course collaboratively with other colleagues or even with your own students.<\/p>\n

Unishared will also allow you to connect with other knowledge and enjoy what is happening in an amphitheatre thousands of kilometres away from you. You have understood this. I liked this site.
