The articles in the collaborative encyclopedia are a source of \u2018inspiration\u2019, not to say \u2018copy and paste\u2019, which is inexhaustible for generations of middle and high school students. <strong>How else can we use Wikipedia\u2019s immense wealth and train young people to make \u2018informed\u2019 use of the tool? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/outilstice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Wikipedia-en-classe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2819\" src=\"https:\/\/outilstice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Wikipedia-en-classe.jpg\" alt=\"Wikipedia in class\" width=\"560\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/outilstice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Wikipedia-en-classe.jpg 991w, https:\/\/outilstice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Wikipedia-en-classe-300x180.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wikimedia France has an interesting answer to this question: <strong>Make young people go from being readers to contributors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The online pedagogical kit tries to give all the rules, also <a href=\"https:\/\/outilstice.com\/2023\/11\/vikidia-encyclopedie-wikipedia-pour-enfants\/\" title=\"Vikidia: An educational encyclopedia Wikipedia for children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">teachers as well as young people, to carry out educational projects around the creation of articles<\/a> or files in the Wikipedia encyclopedia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wikipedia is the largest encyclopedia in the world.<\/strong> Launched in 2001, it contains 29 million articles in more than 200 languages and is visited by nearly 500 million visitors each month. Writing an article or dossier requires a serious desk search to source the information. It also makes it possible to train young people to work collaboratively in a real-life work situation. The final publication is a source of motivating and exciting satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>The people of Wikimedia France, but beyond the entire Wikipedia community are always ready to lend a hand and useful advice. This is part of the very genes of this great project.
