Typen<\/strong> is an online word processor that strives to remove any distraction while you write<\/strong>. It is part of a whole series of new tools that try to combat permanent zapping and digital solicitations that impair concentration.<\/p>\n

\"typen\"<\/p>\n

Typen offers a minimalist interface but all the essential functions are there<\/strong> so you can forget about the tool and focus on what matters most: the content.<\/p>\n

This word processing is nestled in your usual browser and once registered in the service you will be able to find all your texts, notes, articles, \u2026 courses. The backup is automatic and permanent while you write. A historical function allows you to go back in time and go back to a previous version of the text.<\/p>\n

\"Typen<\/p>\n

Typen offers a full-screen function that will make your computer a kind of blank sheet. The tool makes it possible to combine infinitely the colour of the background and the colour of the letters. You will also have the choice between a dozen different fonts including a fairly successful manuscript<\/strong>. When you write, two useful pieces of information appear at the bottom of the screen: the number of characters and the number of words your text makes.<\/p>\n

Once your text is finished you will be able to file it in custom folders to always have it at your fingertips.<\/strong> You can also download in TXT, PDF, DOC, HTML or send it to your Dropbox, Google Docs or Evernote account<\/strong>. Note that Typen also allows you to import text the other way around in these different formats. The tool also offers the possibility to share text through a single URL. If you wish, you can add a password to provide to your recipients. They will be able to consult the text without the need to register.<\/p>\n

A minimalist word processor that does not lack originality and some interesting options<\/strong>. The absence of collaborative writing functions will be regretted. They may appear in a future version. Typen is completely free.<\/p>\n
