We and others, from prejudice to racism.<\/strong> This is the title of a major exhibition organised in Paris by the Mus\u00e9e de l\u2019homme under the patronage of UNESCO. The Mus\u00e9e de l\u2019homme can only be congratulated on this citizens\u2019 initiative in these turbulent times. I can only recommend this exhibition.<\/p>\n

An exhibition on racist behaviors and prejudices that offers a particularly successful scenography and well suited for students from middle school to senior<\/strong>. The Museum of Man offers rich and documented work to raise awareness of discrimination in our country. The exhibition sheds scientific light on racist behaviour and prejudice. It is based on numerous studies carried out by the researchers in science<\/a> of man.<\/p>\n

\"We and the Others\" attempts to decipher and deconstruct the mechanisms of rejection of others and racism that come to poison societies at certain points in their history.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For this purpose, the Mus\u00e9e de l\u2019Homme uses a scenography and a route adapted to all audiences, with moments when visitors are called upon to immerse themselves in concrete situations, such as an airport boarding room, to enable them to become aware of the discrimination that crosses our society today.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is made up of three parts: Me and the Others or how identity is developed, Race and history and finally an overview of racism today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the exhibition, and to mark the event, the Museum of the Man Out Chroma<\/em><\/a> a beautiful application to install on your smartphone or tablet<\/strong>. You can become the ambassador of the exhibition by sharing \u2026 your skin colour. The Chroma application captures its skin tone. Thousands of people thus become \u2018the colours of the exhibition\u2019. It's a great idea. Joining up with a friend, colleague, classmate or stranger, taking photos of faces and the app Chroma will detect both skin colours and apply them automatically to the exhibition posters.<\/strong><\/p>\n
