StoryMapJs<\/strong> is a free online tool that allows to tell a story through different geographical points on a map.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It looks like Heganoo that I presented here<\/a> some time ago.You will be able to insert on each point of the map multimedia content that visitors will be able to discover with a single click.<\/p>\n

StoryMapJs is quite easy to use<\/strong>. Once registered you will be able to create your first SToryMap. You give it a title and then you can create the different steps you want to propose to your student readers. Each step corresponds to a point on the map. To place a point, simply search for it using the built-in search engine.<\/p>\n

You will then give a title to the step and complete it with text. Above all, you will be able to insert multimedia content into it. You have a choice: sound, video, images.<\/strong> StoryMapsJs can import items from Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, vine, Dailymotion, Google Maps, Wikipedia, SoundCloud \u2026 and many others.<\/p>\n

Once completed, your story in card form is ready to be shared via email or social media. You can also retrieve a code to integrate it into your website or blog.<\/strong> The end result is very successful and enhances your storytelling in the form of a kind of slideshow in which the reader switches from one slide to another with one click, which generates movement and a zoom effect on the map.<\/p>\n
