A virtual whiteboard for the class."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Padlet<\/strong> is an online CTBT tool that allows you to <strong>create and share a message wall, a virtual whiteboard<\/strong> with your students.<\/p>\n<p>Padlet, so far known as Wallweisher, is already very popular across the Atlantic and in Canada. It wins to be known elsewhere. What is it? Padlet's promise is in one sentence on the front page of the site. <strong>We offer you a blank page, a wall you hang on it what you want where you want. Simple and powerful.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And it is true that in use we are <strong>surprised by the simplicity of use that makes it accessible to the youngest and the quality of the rendering<\/strong>. Padlet offers you a personal white wall with a unique URL on which you will be able to deposit notes, links, images, sounds, videos, Word or Excel files, PDF \u2026 the list is long. You drag and drop your file onto the wall, it is automatically uploaded. You can then give it a title and a comment. By registering on the site, you will also be able to manage the permissions given to users and visitors to your wall. You will be able to decide to allow only the consultation of the wall without allowing any modification. But you can also and of course this is the most interesting <strong>allow a group of students to collectively enrich a picture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>In the classroom.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Padlet is a tool that simply introduces students to online collaborative work. You can ask a group of students to do documentary research and collect the results on a Padlet.
