Versailles 3D<\/a><\/strong> is a comprehensive multimedia project to discover the history of the famous Palace of Versailles through an interactive tour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Versailles 3D is a good example of what digital technologies can offer historians and the general public to discover the history and cultural heritage of a site like Versailles.<\/p>\n

You will be able to take an interactive tour and immerse yourself in video and dozens of 3D models in centuries of history. A multimedia tour of what has been, in turn, the Royal Palace, the Museum and the Republic Building and has now become one of the most visited tourist sites in the world. Versailles 3D is divided into two large parts.<\/strong> The first, more pedagogical, allows you to go through 5 centuries of creation with three-dimensional models in which you will be able to move with the end of the mouse according to the periods. The most recent period alone is worth the detour. It uses Google's street view technology and offers the discovery of the gardens, the King and Queen's large apartments and the Hall of Mirrors.<\/p>\n
