Factile<\/strong> is a tool that allows teachers to create \"Jeopardy\" style games for the class very easily. <\/strong><\/p>\n

An ideal tool to play with your students. A nice service to launch challenges, work in groups, animate your courses. Remembering, learning, reviewing in a fun way, Factile will allow you to inject play into learning. Your students will love it.<\/p>\n

Factile is an editor to create your own games for the class<\/h2>\n

Basically Factile is a platform that allows you to edit and create games in a quiz and Other Jeopardy<\/a>. Very easy to handle, the longest is to enter the questions and answers that will serve as a database for the different games that you will be able to create via the platform. In some cases, you can also ask your students to create their own games<\/a> to challenge oneself between groups or between classes.<\/p>\n

This preliminary work will soon be profitable. For each series of questions Factile will be able to automatically generate no less than four different game styles. Cherry on the cake, once registered on the site, you will have access to a huge library of games created by other users of the platform. Most are in English, but you can find some little wonders in all the subjects that will save you a lot of time.<\/p>\n

Create games for the class and play in four different ways<\/h2>\n

Once your questions are created the hardest is done. Factile offers four possible variations for each series of questions. The two main ones are a Jeopardy-style game on the one hand and a classic flash card game on the other.<\/p>\n

Jeopardy style will turn your class into a TV game board.<\/strong> The Jeopardy game that comes to us from the United States presents a rather original principle since here the idea is to start from an answer to the question to try to guess the question itself. Factile is particularly well suited for a primary use.<\/p>\n

Set the groups that will play and launch the game via your digital screen or video projector. Each team will be able to choose an avatar and try to accumulate as many points as possible. Your role is that of the moderator and the referee. You are the one who will return the cards and award the points to the different teams. All the strength of this game mode lies in the fact that everything is done in groups and out loud in the classroom. Atmosphere guaranteed.<\/p>\n

To make the immersion even stronger, the platform even offers a pro version of a buzzer mode<\/strong>. Each team can then participate in the game via a big buzzer on a smartphone or tablet.<\/p>\n

There are many options at your disposal. Background music during questions, limited time or not, etc. Try it, once again your students will love it.<\/p>\n

Simpler to implement, more classic too, you can use flash-card mode. The principle of flash cards<\/em> is ultra-simple: information on the back of a card, information on the front. It's up to you to challenge the whole class.<\/p>\n

There are many options. You will be able to easily print questions and answers, save series being created, share them, etc.<\/p>\n

One more detail but it has its importance. Do not be impressed by the fact that the interface of the homepage of the site is in English. Once connected you have access to an interface entirely in French and that is a good thing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can use Factile to create games for the class for free. A few options are then curtailed. Full and unlimited access requires around EUR 40 per year.<\/p>\n
