The Normalizer<\/strong> is a software that will give super powers to the search and replace function in Word.<\/strong> Microsoft's word processor offers a handy search and replace feature to find a word or phrase in a text and replace them with an alternative of your choice.<\/p>\n

The Normalizer will go much further by memorizing, thanks to a system of personalized lists, your various corrections. You can then apply them automatically to a series of texts. In use it is particularly convenient. The Normaliser will save you an infinite amount of time in applying a homemade \u2018step\u2019 to all texts produced in the context of, for example, a research laboratory, at university or in the workplace.<\/p>\n

The Normaliser is a magic reel that will automatically standardise the terminology used in all your written documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Automate Search and Replace Operations<\/h2>\n

Simple to implement The Normalizer is nevertheless a very powerful tool. It will automate a whole series of tasks to homogenize the terminology used in your written productions. For this purpose, the application relies on personalised lists. You can create as many as you want. Registerable and shareable, these lists are composed of source words and their correct equivalents, to then apply these lists of text in text. The search and replacement process then takes place completely automatically for all the selected words and lists. It is magical.<\/p>\n

A tool directly integrated into Word<\/h2>\n

The app adds a Standardizer menu in the Word ribbon (versions 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019). A click on this menu calls its toolbar.\u00a0Five functions at your disposal: constitution and management of the lists, terminological replacement options (respecting the case or not, searching for the whole words or not, meaning of the text path), optimisation settings, and of course launching the standardisation itself.<\/p>\n

\"word<\/p>\n

The compilation of lists will then be at the heart of the software\u2019s action. It is in the compilation of these lists that you will be able to concentrate your efforts. The Normaliser takes care of everything else.<\/strong> You can import your lists if you have already compiled indexes or create them from scratch. This will allow them to become richer over time. The creation of an entry is done with one click.\u00a0 It consists of a \u2018source\u2019 and its standardised form, the \u2018standard\u2019.<\/p>\n

You can apply The Standardizer to a part of a text or to an entire document. Word's search and replace function will automatically use one list, several or all of your lists. It is up to you to decide. During use, the software provides you with a detailed real-time report of changes to the text.<\/p>\n

Updated August 2020.<\/strong> Mysoft, the company behind this utility, announces version 1.5 of the Standardizer. This new version perfects replacements in Word for phrases and compound words.<\/p>\n

The Normalizer is a pro tool for quickly generating documents using consistent and validated vocabulary.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This software is a creation made in France by the company Mysoft, which distributes several writing tools, including the excellent Antidote Corrector<\/a>.<\/p>\n
