Rallye-Lecture is an online tool that make it easy to set up and monitor a reading rally in your classroom.
Facilitate and simplify, two promises kept by this service created and imagined by a teacher who knows what he is talking about and it shows. The service is not new, but it has just been renewed in a completely new version that has reached maturity and allows, among other things, optimal use on tablets.

Rallye-Lecture is very simple to use. It makes it possible togreatly reduce the tasks of the teacher and in particular everything related to assessments, corrections and rankings.
The service invites you first to create your class and then to return your students one by one, their first name is enough. You then choose the books from your book list to create your first rally. Note that you can create as many Rally Readings as you want. It is thus possible to offer two levels of reading in the same class. The site offers more than 5000 questionnaires related to the books. 5000 ready-to-use questionnaires that children can answer directly online on the classroom computer, on their tablet or from home. You will not need to correct them, the correction is automatic.

Is there no questionnaire for a book that you want to be part of the Rally? Don't worry, you can write one quickly and ask the site to integrate it. The questionnaires consist of five text comprehension questions. Students choose the right answer from three possible ones.
Once you have launched your rally, you will easily understand all the interest of the service by going to your dashboard. You will be able to follow the progress of each of your students, the answers they provided to the questionnaires and their ranking. You can edit the results and even get badges, diplomas and other nice bookmarks to reward readers.
On the student side, the graphical interface is a real success in this version 2 of Rallye-Lecture. Joyful and colourful, the graphic universe will encourage students to participate, read the rally books and respond to evaluations. To log in, students after accessing the class via a common password, will be able to choose their first name that you will have entered previously and choose a three-digit password that is personal to them.

The young reader’s homepage shows a pretty virtual shelf with the covers of all the books that make up the Rally Reading. With one click, they will be able to access the proposed questionnaires. They will also discover in real time their ranking on the podium of the best readers. (If you prefer to keep the suspense and not show students their results as the rally progresses, this is also possible).
Note that the author offers you a series of three videos to help you start your first particularly clear rally, you will have no trouble taking control of the platform.
In the end a great service that will save you a considerable amount of time and which should please your students by increasing their commitment. A real good idea and impeccable realization. I recommend.
You have one month to test the platform. If you want to use it throughout the year, you will switch to the very reasonable paid subscription of 0.25 cents per pupil for an entire year. You can even get a free account by participating in the development of new evaluation questionnaires. Nice to meet you.
