Sqworl is an online tool that allows to Easily collect bookmarks or bookmarks and then share them with your students or colleagues.

Sqworl will allow you to create On-the-fly pages grouping your favorite sites by themes or folders. Each site is presented in the form of a thumbnail with a small caption to comment on the resource.
The use is simple. After a quick registration on the site, Sqworl will propose you to create a first group of links. You can create as many groups as you want, each of which can contain an unlimited number of sites. Once you've given your first group a name, you can rank your first site there. All you need to do is indicate the URL of the site you want to keep. Sqworl will make it appear in your collection as a small card illustrated by a small image of the homepage. You can add a description or comment on each link.

You can add bookmarks to a collection one by one on the site or install a bookmarklet to your browser This will allow you to keep a bookmark in one of your collections at the click of a button when you browse the web.
Each group of links you will create has a unique URL that will allow you to easily share it by email or on social networks. By clicking on the link, readers will be directed to a page in your name containing all the digital resources you have stored there. They will be able to share the page in turn. By default all bookmark collections are public on Sqworl.

The platform also offers a search engine that makes it possible to search the huge database of links created over the years by thousands of teachers.. Too bad that most of the users and resources offered are in English.
Another disadvantage of Sqworl, advertising in the free version of the platform. You can indeed use this curation and bookmark sharing tool without limits, but advertisements will be present (reasonably) in your pages. You will have to switch to the paid version to get rid of it. In this premium version, you can also protect one or more bookmark collections with a password or choose the images that illustrate each of your folders. Allow a little more than 3 euros per month.

Hello, it seems very close to Pearltrees as a … tool what difference (plus value) is there?
You're right, Myriam. It’s kind of the same spirit. Maybe it's easier to handle. An alternative?
