Let's rejoice and sharpen our colored pencils. Operation ColorOurCollections has been back for a few days. More than 200 libraries and museums around the world offer a selection of images from their colouring collections.

This is already the third edition of this colourful event originally launched by the Library of the New York Academy of Medicine. which I echoed here at the time.
Coloring is always fashionable and there are more and more albums in bookstores. It's said to help relax and combat the stress of our digital lives. If you feel like it, you might as well do it on real works of art. What also feed the coloring exercises for your students.

All the institutions participating in this project, they are more and more numerous each year, have put online coloring boards or books to download. It's up to you to download them and then print them on beautiful white paper. Once finished you are invited to post your most beautiful coloring pages on Twitter with the hashtag #colorourcollections.
You will find on the website of the New York Academy of Medicine all the links that lead you to the works published by the various libraries. France has very little representation and that is a shame. Let us congratulate twice as much the documentalists and librarians of the libraries of Haute Alsace, the Champs Libres in Brittany, the media libraries of Metz and the interuniversity health library of Paris.
Have fun.
