QuickOffice allows to create andEdit Microsoft Office documents from Google Drive in mobility.
QuickOffice works with text documents, calul sheets and PowerPoint presentations. Until now, the pro version was paid for, Google has just revised its plans and announces that theapp for iOs and Android is now free.
If you have a Google Drive account, QuickOffice will make it easier for you with any Office documents you have stored there. Drive allows you to view them, but not to edit them. QuickOffice will pick files from your iPad and allow you to edit them on the fly. Practical.
Google has just completely revamped its app for the occasion and offers new icons and a slightly modified GUI. In addition to the ability to see Excel and PowerPoint charts, QuickOffice now allows for example create compressed folders in Zip format.
When installing on your tablet or smartphone, simply connect vote Google account with your credentials to be able to use it. One of the interesting advantages of this application is to allow collaborative work on the same document. QuickOffice makes it much easier to do this, especially since it means that the person(s) you work with will not need to register on Google. It sounds like nothing, but it will allow you to work with people who are not Google addicts.
The app is therefore now free and small bonus, if you install it and connect it to your Google Drive before 26 September you will benefit from 10 GB extra space on your drive.
