Ekoya is an online platform that offers discounts and offers for teachers and all educational staff. The site surprises with the wide variety of offers, updated regularly, in which everyone should find their account. You can find discounts on everything from books to travel, rentals, gifts, home, press, entertainment …

Often these are exclusive offers that you won't find elsewhere. Club Ekoya, since it is a real shopping club, has several advantages. It will make you some great savings, it is free for teachers and educational staff, and icing on the cake, it is actively involved in funding inclusive projects in schools through the association ‘Educational Ambitions’ ..

I have just signed up and will explain why.

What is Ekoya?

Ekoya is the heir of the famous CAMIF Club created in 1993 by the educational community for the members of the cooperative. Already at the time, the club consisted almost exclusively of teachers who lived as members rather than customers. Informed consumers, demanding, sensitive to values (ethics, mutual aid, solidarity …)

Two former CAMIF executives, Jean Van Caeneghem Bruno Coudour took over the company and the values that animated it under the name of Club EKOYA. Based in Niort, the company employs around 10 people.

The Club’s offer has also grown considerably to cover more sectors (home, equipment, services, … holidays) and offer even more benefits.

Ekoya now offers a website with all the benefits available to teachers. You will also find many useful articles for the community, such as this excellent summary of the aids to which teachers are entitled. Ekoya also publishes three major catalogues per year.

What are the benefits of Ekoya Club?

Unlike large companies, teachers and education staff do not have a works council. Ekoya is a great alternative to get negotiated discounts as a teacher on tourism and travel, leisure, culture and even automotive.

Thousands of negotiated discounts for teachers

Discounts can be large, -30 % – 40 %. On the site, you will find them sorted by categories. The most important ones can be found in the ‘last minutes’ tab.

More than 190 partners have signed an agreement with Club Ekoya. To discover them, take a look at the all brands tab. They will be displayed in alphabetical order. A filter system will allow you to refine the results by theme if necessary.

A Chrome extension to make your searches easier

Ekoya uploaded a fairly original extension for the Chrome browser. Once installed, this extension will alert you to possible discounts when you visit the website of a partner brand. Practical. Note that the plugin does not track you. It is limited only to notifying you of discounts. Ekoya will not know or record your searches or any of your data.

Discounts that finance inclusive and solidarity-based projects

Ekoya does much better than selecting offers that meet criteria that could be described as responsible consumption (quality, location, behaviour of the … brand).

As soon as you buy something via the platform, it pays a percentage of its turnover to the association ‘Educative Ambitions’.
Objective of the association: fund inclusive school projects. The association was created with VVF and the Ligue de l’Enseignement, trusted partners.
