Reverso Context is a free online tool toobtain a translation of a word or expression into more than nine different languages. Translations that propose the use of the searched word contextualised in excerpts of text.
A simple and free tool that will make it possible to better understand and use a word or expression in a foreign language. It also appears well suited to enrich a learner’s vocabulary book.

You write the word or expression you are looking for, then you choose the language of origin and the language of destination and finally you validate.
The result is displayed in two columns. On the left the word searched for in expressions or texts of the original language, on the right their translation. Simple and practical. Reverso Context offers a very important database and it is difficult to take it in default. The tool also offers the user to contribute to the enrichment of the index if it has no or few answers.
This small online tool allows you to juggle with ten different languages. You will find English, Spanish, German, but also Dutch or Russian Hebrew.
Reverso Context is free and can be used on the web or on a dedicated mobile application available on iOS and Android. Advertising is a bit invasive, but remains at an acceptable level.
