MakeBeliefsComix is an online tool that allows to easily create comic strips and then print them. Wikipedia defines the comic strip or simply strip, as a comic strip of a few boxes arranged in a strip most often horizontal.
MakeBeliefsComix offers a drawing board limited to a few boxes to tell a story. Unlike other similar tools, e.g. Strip Generator, here We need to get to the bottom of it.
This small online creative studio favors simplicity to facilitate the creation of small stories. Ideal for a writing or expression workshop or to stage a situation for a language course. You will have the opportunity to create as many strips as you want. The use is very simple. You will be able to choose the actors of your story in a gallery of rather funny characters ready to serve. It's up to you to do the casting.
Everything is done by dragging and dropping from the end of the mouse. In the same way that you have chosen the characters, you will be able to choose postures and expressions for each of them. Then add objects from a well-filled toolbox and background sets on which your actors will evolve.
Finally, it remains to give them a voice with cartoon bubbles in which you can write the dialogues of your story.
With MakeBeliefsComix, the user will be able to become a real director and work on all aspects of a short narrative.
Once your story is complete, you can download it in image or PDF format so that you can print it out.
The graphic universe offered by MakeBeliefsComix is nice and colourful rather suited to a young audience. The end result is quality and you can display it on a wall or stick it on a notebook without blushing.
MakeBeliefsComix is free. The creative interface is somewhat crowded with advertising. A little too much for my taste. The good news is that you can use the tool without having to register.
