Blubbr is a CTBT tool that makes it possible to Easily create video quizzes for a class.
Video has become the dominant medium on the web and has always been a great educational medium at school. Blubbr will allow you to use videos to offer quizzes to your students in a fun way. A playful aspect that will contribute to a better listening and analysis of the video broadcast.
Blubbr is very easy to use and builds on the videos on YouTube. Your quizzes can cover any topic. After a quick registration to the service, you will be able to create your first quiz. Give it a title, then through an internal search engine search YouTube for the video you want to use. Blubbr will offer you a list of videos that you can use.
Once the video is chosen, you will be able to watch it and insert your questions and possible answers when you wish. Insert as many questions as you like in the right places. Once finished, all you have to do is publish. You can then share your quiz by email or insert it in a blog for example.
Students will be challenged to answer questions correctly and get the best score possible by answering your questions correctly. The projection of the video then begins, it will be interrupted at the times you have defined with your questions. Students are limited time to respond. The correction is displayed automatically if they are wrong.
Blubbr offers a gallery of quizzes sorted by categories. They are mostly in English, but they will give you creative ideas, language teachers will be able to use them as they are.
In the classroom.
Blubbr is a Digital Educational Tool great for using video media in class. The playful aspect and the live scores will arouse the interest of the most recalcitrant. Blubbr will also facilitate the memorisation of a course. You can also use it in a collective projection, use the questions to interview the class live and make a projection more interactive.
