You have been appointed EVARS referent in pedagogical advice. Or your head of school has announced three sessions to be held in the year, without specifying which or with what. Or you teach SVT and everyone has reflexively turned to you.
Since the start of the 2025 school year, Emotional and relational life education is a compulsory program, from kindergarten to senior, in the public as well as in the private under contract. However, the legal obligation already existed: The 2001 Act provided for three annual sittings. It has almost never been applied. The Economic, Social and Environmental Council estimated that fewer than 15 % students were really benefiting from it.
The programme is contested and appealed, rejected by the Council of State in June 2025. This is not the subject of this article.

Start with Eduscol, even if it doesn't feel like it
Many colleagues avoid the official page by reflex, expecting regulatory text. It is a pity, because the essence of the concrete is there.

Onsexpression.fr
The website of Public Health France intended for 12-18 year olds. Seven sections, from the body to violence to consent, all written from a teenager’s point of view. A chat allows you to talk to psychologists and educators, and a directory geolocates sexual health centers.

Askip videos
A webseries of fifteen episodes of about a minute and a half, accessible from the videos section of Onsexpression. A teenager asks a question, a professional answers. Doctor, midwife, sexologist, sociologist. The format is short and the tone is fair, which is rarer than we think on this subject.
Project them from the Onsexpression YouTube channel rather than from TikTok. You'll avoid recommendation threads and ads in the middle of your session.

Sexotuto on Lumni
Videos of four to five minutes hosted by France Télévisions. Free, no account. Most importantly, Lumni passes academic filters, which is not the case for all sexual health sites. Stupid detail, but that saves a session.

Public Health France brochures
The most useful is Questions d’ados, which was completely recast in 2025, including texts and graphic charter. The old brochure has been split into two parts: The 11-14 year old version is available, the 15-18 year old version is announced for 2026.

The point that few colleagues are aware of: these brochures are not only downloadable, they can be ordered free of charge in quantity. Enough to equip an entire class without affecting the school’s budget. Plan the delivery time.

Helping to express and hear consent
A booklet of some 40 pages produced by CRIAVS Île-de-France with Santé publique France, downloadable from this page. It offers turnkey sessions on consent, with theoretical input on the one hand and facilitation advice on the other.
It is the most directly usable resource on this list. If you only had to download one, it would be that one.

The Cripps Île-de-France toolkit

Academic pages
Créteil and Paris publish session sheets, games and field testimonials. There are things that the national does not propose: a 5th CME session on cyberbullying, a second-class booklet, feedback from documentalist teachers and school nurses.
On this digital aspect, the CNIL FantomApp completes the point well: it gives pupils concrete steps to follow when a photo circulates or an account slips. What to articulate an EVARS session with the IMS rather than deal with the two separately.
Academic pages are less visible in search results, often more concrete. Type "EVARS" followed by the name of your academy.

What about primary school?
It is the most badly served part, so to speak.
First point to clarify, because it feeds much of the concerns of families: in kindergarten and elementary school, we talk about EVAR, without S. No sexuality. The programme focuses on body knowledge, emotions, respect for intimacy and relationships with others. The distinction is not cosmetic, and it is better to explain it before the back-to-school meeting than after.

For the rest, it will be necessary to tinker. This is the work to be done in the coming years.
What to anticipate
Test your links from a position in the institution, not from home. Academic filters regularly block sexual health sites because of the vocabulary used. A pinnacle.
