Audio is everywhere. Sound media, unlike video, can be manipulated, worked on and edited easily thanks to free software such as Audacity. Beyond editing, the web is full of services and tools for working with audio files. I regularly present them to you on ToolsTice. Here are three new ones. Three tools you may not know to work with audio files easily.
Table of Contents
Melody ML. Separate lyrics and music from an audio file easily

Melody ML is an amazing little online utility that can be sorted into any audio file using artificial intelligence. All you have to do is upload any song in mp3 format to the homepage of the site. A few minutes later, you can recover separate audio tracks. On the one hand the voice, on the other the music.

Vocaroo. Save and share small audio files

Vocaroo is not a new tool, but it continues to provide good and loyal services to easily record and send a small audio file by email or via social networks. Through a simple interface, this voice messenger makes it possible to record audio messages on the fly via the microphone of your computer. A button to start recording. One click to stop. One last click to share it. Simple and free. Vocaroo allows you to share by email and on social networks. You can also retrieve a code to insert your audio file on a site or blog.

oTranscribe. Easily transcribe your audio files

oTranscribe is a kind of audio player designed to help you transcribing an audio file. I have already had the opportunity to present it here. To transcribe a conference or an interview, it is rather efficient and it is free. Upload your audio file and use the special commands offered by oTranscribe. You will be able to pause the audio, go back, advance the sound and even program the speed of the sound scrolling. Another highlight is the word processing on the right of the screen, which will allow you to layout the transcribed text in parallel, insert a time marker or know the number of words the text makes.
