My Solo lessons. Open access educational resources during lockdown

My Courses in Solo is a site offering thousands of resources and quality educational content in open access throughout the lockdown. Let us also welcome the teams of Maskott, which took the initiative and set up this tool in record time. Congratulations.

Faced once again with the difficulty of following students outside the classroom, Free tools for education and free resources such as those offered by Maskott are in the public interest.

More than 10,000 free resources from primary to high school

Mes Cours en Solo is a real Ali Baba cavern hosted by the digital platform Tactiléo. Most of them come from BRNEs (Digital Resources Bank for Education) certified by the Ministry of National Education, BRREs (Regional Resources Banks), collections of revisions of the National Patent Diploma (DNB) designed by different academies.

A collection of open-access educational resources They cover many disciplines from cycle 2 to high school.

Here is the list to date of accessible content posted on Tactileo:

• French FLS/FLE (School, College, High School)
• Living languages: German (Cycle 3 and 4) and Italian (from cycle 3 to high school)
• Ancient LCA languages: Greek and Latin (from cycle 3 to high school)
• Mathematics (from cycle 2 to high school – general and technological path)
• Science: Physics Chemistry, SVT, Technology (Cycle 4, High School)
• Engineering sciences (First – Speciality – General route)
• Digital science and technology (Second – common – general)
• Creation and technological innovation (Second – optional – technological pathway)
• Technological innovation and engineering and sustainable development (First – speciality – technological pathway)
• Scientific education (First – common – general route)
• Digital and Computer Science (First – speciality – general route)
• Mathematical DNB revisions (Cycle 4).

Teaching resources to learn independently

My Solo lessons did it right. The platform is accessible directly by the student independently, without registration or authentication and without any data collection. Resources can also be consulted and used, of course, by teachers or families.

For teachers, they can find all the resources on edu.tactileo.fr by entering their academic address (to validate that they are indeed teachers) they can then modify, adapt the resources, but also assign them to the students, which allows them to have a follow-up of the activities carried out by them.

The choice of activities can therefore be made independently or on the advice ofe the teacher. The pupil can access all the educational content on offer. They are free, quality and diversified (courses, 3D objects, exercises, … videos).

The interface is that of Tactileo. Each resource category can be sorted through a filter system based on level, themes, difficulty.

My Courses in Solo is a good initiative that should help the entire educational community to ensure pedagogical continuity in this difficult period.
