Fact Check Explorer. An excellent fact checking search engine

Fact Check Explorer is a useful search engine offered by Google that allows to realize a comprehensive search of hundreds of articles and sources specialising in fact-checking, i.e. fact-checking.

A useful resource to check if a serious investigation has already been carried out by specialists on an information or rumor heard here or there.

Fact Check Explorer presents itself as a classic search engine. Just indicate the topic or topic you want to analyse. This can be a statement, a theme or even the name of a public person. Start the search. Google will search the web in a flash to extract all the fact checking articles that have been published about it. FACT CHECKING AND FACT CHECKING CELLS ARE MORE THAN BELIEVED. Major media such asafp with its fact checking cell AFP Factual, Le Monde and Libération, to name but a few, have set up specialised services.

Fact Chek Explorer will display the results in a list with links to consult the original article but also the verdict of each investigation: True, False, Deceiver, Lack of context…

Advanced features to go further in your search for fact checking surveys

This specialised Google engine offers some interesting options to allow you to go further in your queries. This allows you to sort the results by language, for example by displaying only French articles. You can expand to English or any country in the world.

Fact Check Explorer also displays all articles from a source. If you write “site:factu.afp.com” you will get all the surveys published by the AFP cell.

In addition, when you start a search on a topic, the results are displayed with tags or tags next to each of them. Clicking on a tag will display all the corresponding articles.

The extreme stripped-down interface also provides a link to display the most recent articles. You will discover the latest investigations carried out by newsrooms specialized in fact-checking.
