Do you remember your first school year? Alone in front of the class, with the impression that everyone knew how to do, except you. Today, a layer is added to this well-known anxiety: artificial intelligence. We talk about it everywhere, we tell you again that you have to ‘get started’, but nobody takes the time to show you where to click or, above all, what to avoid.
In short, it is exactly for these colleagues who are just starting out that I wrote this book.
His name is 20 AI Tools Tested in Classroom for Beginner School Teacher (Edition 2026). The idea is not to make one more catalogue, nor to shout miracles at each page. It is a sort. Twenty tools selected from hundreds, chosen for a specific profile, the new primary school holder, each with the only question that really matters: Is it going to save me time without getting me into trouble?
What you will find in it
The tools are classified by actual need for the first few weeks: preparing a sequence when starting from scratch, differentiating without tripling your working time, creating exercises and quizzes, making visual media, exploiting audio and video. You will come across names already tested on the blog, such as EduquIA, Diffit, Caramel, Canva or NotebookLM, but also more discreet and data-friendly solutions, such as Euria, Lumo or Buzz Caption.
Each tool is presented as I do here: what it is used for, a concrete example in primary school, its price, what it is worth on the issue of student data, and its limitations. Because one more tool is only relevant if it removes complexity instead of adding it.
I also slipped what I would have liked to have been given at the beginning: a chapter to learn how to properly formulate your requests to AI, a library of 40 ready-to-use prompts sorted by domain, and a red thread on personal data, this blind spot of so many beginners. Nothing about “magic” AI. Much about useful AI, and its safeguards.
The book is for beginners, it is his bias. That said, between us, more than one seasoned colleague will find two or three tools they did not know yet. I won't give names.
