3 free collaborative writing tools.

CTBT tools are transforming the way we learn and teach. With the proliferation of free online tools, the CTBT tools have made it possible to facilitate and develop collaborative work in and out of the classroom. This makes it very easy to write a text together. Here are three free tools for collaborative online writing. A writing with four, six, twelve or countless hands.

zoho1- Zoho Docs. This service is a real online workbook in which to store your documents. The Zoho Suite allows you to access them from anywhere from any computer, laptop or smartphone. Zoho Docs offers comprehensive online word processing that enables collaborative writing. Each employee is perfectly identified and can modify the text in real time. A chat window allows a live dialogue between different publishers. Zoho allows you to work on a text document, a spreadsheet or a presentation. Link: Zoho Docs.

mixedink2 – MixedInk. This site presents itself as a good collaborative brainstorming tool. MixedIn allows a group to work on a single text. For this each participant can work on his own version. The service then allows you to mix the best passages of each. A voting and assessment function will facilitate decisions. Each employee is identified by a color. Updates are done in real time. google-docs3 – Google Docs. It is difficult not to mention Google’s service in this list of collaborative writing tools. Google has added collaboration to its entire online office suite. Word processing is particularly powerful. It allows you to import a document in Word or Open Office format and then edit it online. Google Docs offers all the necessary functions, including a permanent backup, the ability to review previous versions of a document and a live chat or video dialogue system. Link: Google Docs.

    Framapad of course! I had not forgotten, it was a small selection. But you are right on one point, Framapad is a must. I also dedicated a paper to him on another of my blogs: Outilscollaboratifs.com
