Presefy is a TICE tool that will allow you to roll out your slides in real time on your students' mobile devices.
Presefy is quite comparable to another sharing tool, Presentation, which we talked about here A few days ago. It allows you to share and unfold a presentation in real time on your students' mobiles. From Presefy you can control your slides from a computer or from the browser of your iPad, iPhone, Android or from any device running a web browser.
When you switch from one slide to another, the presentation also automatically progresses on all devices connected via a single URL. Presefy is still in the beta phase, but already looks very promising. For example, your students can take notes directly following your presentation.
Once the app has been finalised, they will be able to ask questions directly from their device or answer live surveys, allowing the measuring trainer or teacher to measure the level of understanding of a point or simply survey their audience.
To share your presentations on your students’ mobiles, simply create an account on the site, which is free for now. You can then upload a Powerpoint or Pdf file. The site will provide you with a unique URL to share with your students. They will not need to register. Just enter the URL in their browser to be able to follow your presentation.
