Digital Class is a free online platform that offers all kindergarten and elementary school teachers online work plans and exercises for their students.
The site is still running, but deserves to be in your favourites now. Congratulations to the author @orphysmonecole, because Digital Class is just great.
You will indeed be able to simply offer digital work plans to your students. The site offers dozens of online exercises for all levels and in most subjects. A base of exercises that will grow thanks to your contributions and those of other colleagues who wish to do so.
Eight different types of exercises are proposed. There are text with holes, questions and answers, words to place, flashcards … All offer automatic corrections and a simple point system. The student can see where he/she was wrong, see the correction and the correct answer or start the exercise again to progress.
The digital class platform is very easy to use. As a teacher you must first create an account. You will then be able to create your class and enroll your students. Each of them will have a simple login and password with which to log in as a pupil to the platform.
Once you have created your list of students, all you have to do is choose the online exercises and the progression you will propose to your students. You can search for exercises by level or discipline. Each of them is identified by a number that you will add to the progress. At the moment, the choice of exercises is not very ergonomic, but the author is working to improve this selection phase.
All you have to do is propose the work plan created for your students. They will be able to connect to the school if possible or from home. As a teacher you will have access to the results of each of your students from the platform. That's great.
For create new exercises, the author suggests that you send him your exercise frames following simple content structuring rules. He will then create the exercise for you and put it online. We dream of having a publisher available to carry out the exercises from start to finish.
But let's not shun our pleasure. Class-Digital is a real success. A beautiful realization made available to you free of charge and which had to require many hours of work.
