All free school support solutions during school closures

The series of articles on useful online resources continues during this period of school lockdown and closure. In parallel to the immense work done by teachers, I suggest you take a look at the platforms that offer online courses or tutoring. Here is a list of all free tutoring solutions and online courses during the lockdown period.

Attention several services below are usually paid and some publishers have kept the paid offers in parallel. Read the conditions for access to free offers offered by private operators.

MAIF School Assistance

Whether it is a question of revising a misunderstood concept, preparing for a test or preparing for the patent and the baccalaureate, the ASP offers many educational content: lesson sheets, interactive exercises, methodologies, voice dictionaries, corrected subjects, etc. Kindergarten, primary, middle school, high school, all levels are covered. SchoolMoov

One of the references of the sector. Schoolmoov offers pedagogical support for middle and high school. The offer is complete and well done. Online courses of all subjects from 6th to 6th grade with videos, factsheets and interactive … exercises usually cost around EUR 30 per month. For the duration of the health crisis, you will have to pay a symbolic €1 to access all the content.

Maxicours

Another giant in the online school support sector, Maxicours with a great experience with thousands of students of all ages is an interesting option. For 20 years, Maxicours with teachers from Education Nationale has been supporting students from CP to BAC by offering a complete online solution. As part of the health crisis, the platform has decided to make courses and exercises available free of charge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Malin.

The Khan Academy

Completely free of charge, the Khan Academy website publishes online a free set of several thousand mini-lessons, via video tutorials stored on YouTube, addressing mathematics, computer science, history, finance, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, music, art … Specific accesses with different functions are offered to students, teachers and parents alike. Most exercises can be followed without prior registration.

Nomad Education

Nomad offers a solution that appeals to young people. And for good reason, it is an application to be installed on a smartphone. A complete and serious application that covers programs at the college, the lysée but also in several branches of higher education.

Prep App

Another mobile app to drag revisions into students' pockets. A quality application. PrepApp is one of the most used by young people in high school, prep or for post-baccalaureate competitions. Maths, Spé maths, HEC scientific path, engineering competitions and grandes écoles. PrepApp usually pays for part of the content and offers premium access to everyone throughout the lockdown period.

This free platform is offered by Online FormaPro. It offers revision modules for middle school students. All classes are covered from 6th to 3rd in mathematics, written expression, spelling, grammar and English. For each class you will find more than 150 fun and animated modules.

The Voltaire Project

The famous platform offers its online spelling training to all educational institutions during the school closure period. The Voltaire Project is the leading specialist in spelling upgrades. For the occasion, it makes all its online training modules in spelling and grammar available free of charge to primary, secondary and higher education teachers.
