One of the main objectives of this site is to introduce you and introduce you to new digital tools or educational resources that are useful for teaching and training. With the New Pedagogical Review, we are dealing with a resource which is not strictly speaking new. To say the least. The NRP was born in 1946, it has been for a long time already a reference resource for teachers of French and letters as well as documentalist teachers in middle and high school.

The strength of the NRP is that it has evolved over time and adapted to the needs of teachers. In particular, it has been offering a digital complement in the form of a remarkable resource bank for just over a year.
Published by Nathan, the NRP has been able to take and succeed in the digital shift to offer a valuable educational tool to discover or rediscover.
NRP Collège and NRP Lycée, two reference journals for French and letters
The NRP College and Lycée journals are well known to many secondary school teachers. They are also prominent in many CDIs as well as in many municipal libraries. NRP College and NRP High School are bimonthly. They offer 5 journals and 5 notebooks per year at the College, 5 journals and 2 out-of-series per year at the Lycée. They are the materials of choice to prepare the French patent or baccalaureate with high quality articles produced by authors who are all teachers.

In addition to pages devoted to pedagogy, cultural news and books, each journal offers a large thematic dossier, richly illustrated, most of the time in connection with the year’s programmes.
The richness of the New Pedagogical Review also lies in very complete sequences and pedagogical sheets that occupy a good half of the journal NRP. They offer equipment that is ready to be used as it is or that can be quickly adapted to the needs of each individual. Student cards with corrections are also available.
NRP resource banks to complement and enrich paper journals with digital
Nathan’s teams had the good idea to support the ongoing digital transformation in the press and teaching by providing the New Pedagogical Review with a very practical multimedia supplement. Each NRP journal is thus equipped with a digital resource bank which is its own, accessible via the websites of the magazines.

nrp college magazine and its resource bank
It contains journals in PDF format for on-screen reading, but above all all all the sequences and articles published in the journal. But also many other resources that can be downloaded or exploited directly via a projector. The paper magazine also offers numerous links on its pages. QR codes which allow direct access to the file or document in the NRP resource bank.
These resource banks become richer over time. The NRP College Resource Bank already offers more than a thousand resources. There are more than five hundred for high school.
The NRP thus remains a quality educational tool well adapted to the development of digital technology. Beyond teachers, it is also an excellent support that should be of interest to young people and their families.
Subscription to the New Pedagogical Review Starts at 45 Euros for a paper and digital subscription for a whole year.
