Surfly is a collaborative surfing tool that makes it possible toaviating to several on the pages of a website.
Surfly is a free cloud application that will allow you to share a surf session on the web with students or colleagues very simply without the need to download anything to your computer or theirs.
Simple, flexible and free, Surfly is ideal for example to tutor a session on the Internet with a student. It is very easy to use and sharing your screen will only take you a few seconds. After a quick registration, you must indicate the URL of the site you want to visit accompanied. Once that's done Surfly will give you a unique URL that you'll need to pass on to the people you want to share your browsing with.
All they have to do is follow the URL provided on a browser to access your screen and see exactly what you see.
As soon as you move your mouse on the screen, they will see it move in real time and it will be highlighted to better spot it on the screen. This is a collaborative surfing service, participants will see all your movements on the shared webpage, but you too will see theirs. Everyone will be able to take the hand in turn for a real collaborative surfing.
In the classroom.
Surfly by its simplicity of use is perhaps implemented used in many situations. It can even be used in class, if you have students connected, to allow them to see directly on their tablet or computer your navigation screen. The service can also be used by several remote students to perform a remote web search in collaborative mode.
Surfly is free. Flexible and easy to use, it lacks only the … word, if I may say so. To be truly complete, the service lacks a chat or dialogue space to facilitate exchanges between the various employees.
