Curriculum. Interactive reading platform

Last updated on 12 May 2026

Curriculum is a CTBT tool in the form ofa digital reading platform for teaching and education.

Although in English and still under development, Curriculet is a very promising project that suggests exciting pedagogical uses.

Curriculet makes it possible to offer your students literary or documentary texts to read on a responsive platform that adapts to all devices. The tool makes it possible to:insert comments, annotations, questions and quizzes in these texts.

Curriculet is therefore first and foremost a digital reading platform where you will be able to store your digital books in a personal library. The texts will be available on your computer, tablet or smartphone. During your readings, you will be able to enrich a text by inserting "curricles". These are interactive points that your readers will discover as they read the book.

These insertion points make it possible to include an annotation, a question or an entire quiz. Your annotation can be a short text, but also a video. You will be able to comment orally and n video a precise passage of the text studied. The installation of these interactive points is child’s play. When you read a text embedded in your library, simply click and then highlight a passage. Immediately Curriculet displays a drop-down menu in which you will choose the type of insertion.

Curriculet offers hundreds of works in the public domain by default, but they are all in English. Don't worry, because you will be able to add your own documents. A great option. For example, you can upload your Word documents to your computer or Dropbox. Curriculet also accepts google docs. Curriculet will convert your personal document or ebook and add it to your library where you can edit it.

The tool offers advanced functions to manage one or more classes and their students. Somewhat complex functions that can then give you, as a teacher, useful insights into the work of each of them. You will know how much time everyone has spent on this or that document, you will be able to appreciate the individual results and progress. When you create a Curriculet, you can submit it to one or more classes or to one or more students.

That said, you may not use these advanced features. Once your text is edited, you can simply share a unique link by email or on social networks This will give access to the reading of your document and the multimedia elements that you have inserted in it.

Best for last, Curriculet offers access to teachers and another specific to learners in both cases the service is completely free. A beautiful discovery.

    Hello,
I am a teacher in the 5th and 6th primary years in Belgium. My class was chosen during a call for projects from the Walloon Region. This allowed my class to be equipped with tablets (Asus). My project is reading at the service of French language skills.
I use the application Mantano Cloud and Mantano Reader. Paid application, intended more for the exchange of notes.
I am very interested in your application. Is it possible to test it with my students?
    Thank you
