Pexels is a well-known free image bank all those who need royalty-free illustrations for their websites or blogs. After the photos, Pexels has just launched a video bank that is also royalty-free and usable for free.
Pexels first offers a free image bank that you can use on all your online projects, whether they are school or commercial. The images are all licensed under Creative Commons Zero. In other words, you can copy them, modify them, distribute them, use them without problems. All images are free of charge and you do not need to ask for permission or quote the source to use them. It is the most open licence possible.
Pexels offers thousands of high-definition, high-quality images. To find your happiness, you will have to go through the search engine of the site rather efficient and fast. Pexels also offers two tabs that will allow you to get the latest images added to the database or the most used images.
In the still image, Pexels has just added an offer of videos meeting the same criteria.. In other words, videos that can be freely used in all your projects. While it is easy to find image databases, it is much rarer to find equivalents for video.
No search engine this time in this part of the site dedicated to videos, but Pexels grouped them and categorized them by keywords or tags. The qualities and durations are variable but the choice is important. The presentation thumbnails of each of the videos show the content in an animated gif way.
A good free online resource.
