Answer Garden is a funny little online service that allows a teacher or trainer to ask a question to his students and create a cloud of words with the answers obtained.
Answer Garden is indeed a funny little virtual garden. You plant a question and you will collect and see growing real-time answers. Ideal to start a debate with your learners, brainstorm or raise awareness with an interactive activity.

The service is quite minimalist, but it is nonetheless effective. Once registered on the site, but it is not mandatory, you will be able to create the question you want to ask your auditors. Who is your favorite writer? What are the main words you know in English? Find synonyms …? The possibilities are endless.

You will then choose the maximum number of characters allowed for the answer. 20 or 40. You are also asked to choose a password to moderate real-time responses if necessary.
All you have to do is click on the ‘create’ button and your live questionnaire is launched. The site provides you with a unique URL to share with all participants. The latter by following the link will arrive at a simple page where they will be immediately invited to answer the question asked. All anonymously.
As participants respond, the question page is updated and the words appear as a cloud. Words will change in size depending on the number of times they are quoted in the answers.

Each participant can give several answers but the same answer is taken into account and counted only once. By dragging the mouse over each of the words, you will see a number appear. It provides information on the number of times the word has been used in responses.
The user can reply with a computer, tablet or smartphone. Answer Garden also offers a specific application for iPhone or iPad allowing this time to create a survey and collect the answers.
An original and free tool to discover.

hello,
As a keen reader of your blog, I have tested the Answergarden tool and would like to use it tomorrow, but the page shows a server error!
Do you have any alternative solutions that would use exactly the same principle of a collaborative word cloud whose size is modified by iteration?
Thank you for your help
Yes, they have a small accommodation problem. This should be resolved very quickly. Otherwise maybe look at this article I published some time ago … https://outilstice.com/2024/10/outils-creer-nuages-de-mots/
Thank you for your reply, I had seen your article on the other word cloud tools, but it was the collaborative feedback aspect that interested me in Answergarden, which is not possible (a priori) with others.
I will check regularly, my presentation being at 10:30 … we will see, long live Plan B!
Thank you again for your reply and your blog
Just in time Jonathan 🙂 Their waiter just left. Indeed long live plans B! Good luck with your presentation and good day.
I saw 🙂! Wow!
Encore Thank you
