Blockposters is a smart little site that makes it possible toprint large size posters easily.
Blockposters will allow you to vary and improve classroom display by making it easier to print images at their full size without changing printers. A little tour de force that will require a little patience, a little space and a roll of scotch for the finishes.
The Blockposter principle is very simple to understand. The site splits your original image into as many A4 images as needed. You first upload the image you want to print in large format on the site. Attention your image must make max a mega. Then you will choose the number of A4 sheets you want to use. A preview of the image cut into A4 sheets shows how it looks. The more you multiply the A4 sheets, the larger your image will be once recomposed. BlockPoster offers you an estimate of the size of the final image.
Then all you have to do is validate. The site will create a folder with the initial image cut into as many pdf files as you initially defined. All you have to do is print them out.
Then all you have to do is play the scotch roll to carefully combine all the sheets to get your final poster.
In the classroom.
An online utility that will allow you to vary the size of your classroom displays. You will also be able to test very large formats. By the way, you can create a giant puzzle activity from an image cut into as many A4 sheets of paper as you want. It's up to your students to recompose it.
