Tozzl is another online virtual board solution in which to group, present and share resources useful for a course or a subject.
Tozzl is part of this list of small utilities that make it possible to offer a virtual cork board in the digital age. I think of tools like Glogster, LinoIt and others Padlet.
Tozzl is not new but not lacking in assets. The first is that you do not need to register to be able to use it. In other words, it can be used by anyone without providing email or any other personal identifier. Tozzl allows you to create as many whiteboards as you want with a simple click from the homepage.
When creating your first table, Tozzl will ask you to give it a title to add to it if you want a description and choose two passwords. The first will allow you to edit the table once created. Essential since there is no registration on the site. You will also be able to share it with other users who will therefore also be able to edit the table.
The second password is very important you will be asked to delete the whiteboard as a whole. Suffice it to say a password that is better not to share and to keep preciously.
Once you have created your whiteboard, there are no particular problems with using and handling Tozzl. You will be able to add your resources to share, which will be displayed in the form of cards or cards that are very readable, such as Pinterest or Scoopit. Toozl allows you to insert text that can be formatted with an integrated editor proposed by the platform. You can also create a sheet in the form of a list. You can also insert images, files that will then be downloadable by the player, interactive links or ink videos from YouTube. The player will be able to view them directly in the board without the need to go to the video platform. Finally quite original, Tozzl makes it very easy to integrate Twitter. Simply enter a hashtag or account to display the updated Twitter feed in the space.
We will regret the absence of a browser plug-in This would add content on the fly but Tozzl honestly does the job and offers a simple way to group and present without too much effort digital resources and content.
