Camera HUE HD Pro. A camera viewer who knows how to do everything

The HUE HD Pro is a visualizer camera that has been designed for use in the classroom. Affordable, lightweight and simple to use, this funny little USB device is much more than just a camera viewer.

The HUE HD Pro has already conquered many teachers as well as schools. It must be said that it combines the advantages for use in the classroom.

It is light and can be transported from room to room effortlessly and takes up very little space once installed on your desk.

It is versatile. As a camera viewer, the HUE HD Pro also serves as a webcam, mobile scan, and even as an animation and creative studio.

Technically the HUE HD Pro hides its game well. Under shimmering colors, this viewer camera offers everything needed for multimedia uses.

It is mounted on a flexible arm that can be used in any position and rests on a very stable base. It is equipped with quality optics supported by integrated LEDs to illuminate what you want to capture. The camera is also equipped with a built-in microphone to record sound.

Plug and Play via USB input, it does not need standalone power. No wire on the leg or heavy electric transformer. Practical.

Much more than a camera viewer

The uses of the HUE HD Pro are numerous. You can of course use it as a simple mobile camera viewer to project an object, an insect under a microscope, a photo or an A4 page to the class. But you can go much further. Record a workshop or experience to show them in class. Chat in video with a class at the end of the world by connecting the camera to a Skype application.

You can also turn it into a real animation studio by creating image-by-image animations and get your students involved in making a short film. HUE provides as an option a complete software, HUE Animation, very simple to use, to create stop motion animation films of professional quality.

A viewer camera compatible with Google Chrome

This is the last good idea of the people at HUE. They have developed a new application HUE Camera Viewer which will be available in a few weeks. It combines the features of the software for managing the viewer camera and creating animations for use in the Google Chrome browser.

So you can connect the camera on Chromebooks, computers under Linux, or tablets that have a USB jack. Ideal for new uses and even more mobility.

I have already said all the good I thought of this pretty USB camera for the class in a previous article. I have not changed my mind.

The HUE HD Pro is an excellent multimedia tool that could well become your best ally for your classroom teaching work.

It is offered in four colors, red, blue, green and black. Compatible with Mac and PC, it comes with a license of HUE Intuition software (for Windows and Mac). Count about 70 Eur for the Pro version. I advise you to purchase it with the HUE Animation software.
