‘I am learning’ is a great mobile application that allows you to learn French in a fun way independently on your smartphone. It is aimed at an audience of non-French-speaking adults who may or may not be able to read and write. It is particularly suitable for young and fragile audiences such as migrants.

An application to teach French to migrants but beyond a free literacy tool that can be used in many situations.
Learn French independently in addition to group classes
‘J’Learns’ makes it possible to offer a good digital complement to group lessons. The application takes the form of a game. Here there are no drastic exercises, no courses to memorise or a translation system. The app, designed as a video game, immerses the learner in a city that they will be able to explore at their own pace.
Particularly successful play experience This will immerse the learner in a motivating and fun story for adults and young adults, broken down into episodes. Guided by his roommate Gigi, the user explores his city. He will meet characters, carry out missions and play pedagogical mini-games. At the pace of his learning, at his own pace the player will win sounds, words and phrases.

An application to teach French to migrants
The promise of ‘J’Learns’ is to make it possible to learn French independently even when you cannot read or write. It also aims to allow learners to become familiar with situations and vocabulary they face in their everyday lives. The 3D sets give a realistic representation of the places visited, the activities proposed are inspired by situations, very real tasks to be carried out such as filling out a form, locating oneself on a bus map, etc. I also learn to acquire digital reflexes to better master a smartphone: tactile gestures specific to the dematerialisation of administrative procedures, adding a contact, etc.
The application makes it possible to learn in context in a fun way by offering an immersion in everyday life. A real success.
Today, ‘J’Learns’ offers three hours of play divided into three main episodes. The application will be complemented as new learning content is added.
‘J’Learns’ is the result of a collaboration between a small bang creative studio and Langues Plurielles, a language training organization. A scop, a training cooperative that really wins to be known.
The ‘I'm learning’ app is free and runs on iOs or Android.
