Lattis is a simple CTBT tool that allows simple curation from any page of a website.
Lattis is a plugin for your Chrome browser. A small application to install in two clicks on your browser to then be able to put aside the interesting content found when you browse the web.
It is a kind of visual bookmarking service. Lattis allows you to keep snippets of web pages on the fly by simply dragging and dropping. Extracts that remain linked to the original page to be able to trace back to the source of the content. The use is simple and clear. Once installed, Lattis appears in your navigation bar as a button and at the bottom as a watermark on all web pages. This is your draft notebook where you can keep one or more images or text. Simply drag the image from the webpage to the left side of the browser to keep it.
When you are on a web page in which you want to keep a text, you must proceed in the same way. You highlight the text on the fly and then drag it to the left side of your Chrome browser. A sidebar opens immediately or you can discard your content.
To find later all your captures, just click on the button Lattis to open this sidebar. By clicking on one of the snippets, you will be taken to the original page that will open on your browser.
Lattis allows you to create folders to group your excerpts by theme or topic. In short a simple and practical tool to favorite web pages by favoring the visual.
We will just regret that the tool does not allow the synchronization of your visual favorites on all your computers. The Lattis extension is linked to the browser and computer on which it was installed.
