Eddtor is a funny online word processing that sets itself the goal of avoiding unnecessary distraction to allow you to better focus on what you're writing.
Eddtor is a minimalist word processor. Stripped to the extreme, you will not spend your time searching for any advanced function or formatting command, there are none. The tool does not allow for special shaping or enrichment. You write along the formatting will come more trad.
The tool works directly in your web browser. Once registered you will be able to find your current documents. When you create a new document, you find yourself in front of a blank sheet on which you will be able to write. Although he prefers simplicity to help you concentrate, Eddtor offers some interesting functions.
On a menu bar above your sheet, word processing will indeed provide you with a series of very interesting information about your work with three key indicators. The first of these is the number of words in your text. The second is the time you spent writing it. The third and last is an estimate of the time needed to read it. Ideal for calibrating the length of a text and setting writing goals.
Note that Eddtor constantly saves what you write. Two arrows allow you to navigate through the different changes made.
Only little touch of fantasy in this sleek interface, the sound of old typewriter when you type your text. Nostalgia when you hold us. Don't worry by going to the menus you will be able to disable this sound of old Remington 😉
Once your text is finished, Eddtor offers to publish it. It will provide you with statistics in the form of a table and then a unique URL that will allow you if you wish to share your text publicly in the form of a web page. (You can also copy and paste all your text and edit it on your usual word processor)
