Dotstorming is another virtual whiteboard for exchange freely and in real time with colleagues or students. In particular, it makes it possible to create online brainstormings and to obtain participants’ opinions through a voting system.

Dotstorming is ideal for submitting ideas or projects to one or more classes or any group of individuals and then asking them to choose by voting for the best of them. The service is free and very easy to handle.
Dotstorming does not involve instructions for use. All you have to do is create a first table, invite participants, pin your ideas to it and finally collect their votes.
You will start by giving a title that can be in the form of a question, then add a small description to frame the reflection and let’s go. Dotstorming will immediately display a whiteboard in which you and the other participants will be able to pin small cards submitted for discussion or vote.
Cards or pins on your board can contain text, photos or videos. You can also display a Pinterest table if you use it. Just enter the URL of your Pinterest board and Dotstorming will display the pins it contains. All you have to do is share your table. You can do this by transmitting a unique URL provided by the site. Practical, participants do not need to register with their email to be able to participate.
A chat system integrated into the table allows discussion between participants in real time. The table will display the different pins according to the number of votes that each of them will have obtained.
A small utility that can meet many uses and deserves a place in your digital toolkit.
Dotstorming is free and ad-free. The number of participants is unlimited.
