What will be my future job or job? To help middle school students, high school students and students answer this question, Forindustrie, l’Univers Extraordinaire offers an educational metaverse to discover, in the form of a video game, the jobs that recruit in the industry. Registration has been open since September 21st.
Aimed at making the industry, its professions and its innovations known to middle school students, high school students, students, ‘Forindustrie, l’Univers Extraordinaire’ opens the virtual doors of industrial sites and shows its professions that recruit to generate vocations. In total, more than 100 companies are mobilized by offering nearly 217 videos of presentation of the trades, 247 quizzes and 140 videoconferencing slots to exchange live with employees, ambassadors of their trades.

What's new in 2023 on Forindustrie?
3 immersive worlds instead of a single world in 2022 for an increased pedagogical experience:
- The world of industries in the Mediterranean, which revolves around an archipelago of 6 sectors to explore: transport of the future, connected universe, innovative chemistry and sustainable materials, jobs of tomorrow and energy for the planet;
- The world of energy transition actors, which is organised around four pillars: the paths of energy, from the atom to nuclear energy, the energy of water, wind, sun and earth and the enlightened use of energy;

Play with your students thanks to the interclass challenge

Forindustrie, l’Univers Extraordinaire is an event labelled Industry Week #SEDI2023.
In every world, students can:
- Discover jobs through videos, animations and games
- Participate in workshops led by industry professionals.
Each class registered will be able to participate in the Challenge Interclasses open to the whole of France (by accumulating points via the proposed quizzes, by creating the most beautiful robot). Classes with the most points will earn visits to industrial sites (SMEs and large groups) which will take place the following spring (2024 for the 2023 event).

Forindustrie’s website, the Extraordinary Universe, offers an educational space dedicated to teachers. From tutorials on how to use the tool to key industry figures, several resources are available to help teachers prepare – as well as their classes – for navigation on the platform.

Led by Industries Méditerranée, ‘Forindustrie, l’Univers Extraordinaire’ received the support and participation of more than 60 industrial companies and institutions in the Mediterranean (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Occitanie and Corsica) last year, including academic regions and rectorates. The 2022 edition attracted nearly 25,000 middle and high school students, students and jobseekers.
