Diffit is a somewhat game-changing tool. This is another artificial intelligence tool designed to help you create educational activities and lesson plans adapted to the specific needs of students.

Diffit is surprisingly effective to provide you very quickly with the framework of pedagogical resources on almost all subjects usable in class. It can generate printable or digital media.
Whether you teach in primary or high school, in languages, in science or in history-geo, Diffit can create activities ready to be used.
Adapt any content to your students
The principle is simple: you provide a text, a PDF, a web page or even a YouTube video, and Diffit takes care of everything. You can also limit yourself to asking a question about a point in the program.
The tool analyses and reworked these sources to draw from them:

- A list of key vocabulary
- Questions of understanding with different levels of difficulty
- Thoughts and activities
The generated content is fully customizable. You decide the level of language, the length and the themes addressed.
Correct, modify, enrich the proposed resources
It goes without saying that Diffit cannot do without your control. The tool offers many customisation options to allow you to tailor the generated resources to your specific needs.
If you have generated educational content from an open-ended question on a point in the programme, Diffit will display the online sources from which it drew the elements of its answer.
To further personalise, you have the option to exclude unwanted sources. After generating a document, click on "Show Sources". If you identify sources that you want to exclude, simply click "Change sources and regenerate."
This ability to edit and customize content generated by Diffit is one of its strengths.
Here is what can be done:
- Amend text: Each section of the generated text can be edited to adjust the content if necessary. Teachers can also change the length of the text.
- Adjust reading level: It is possible to change the reading level of the generated text, to better match the skills and level of your students. Class levels are in English on the tool but it is very easy to find matches.
- Generate more vocabulary or change the proposed vocabulary: Teachers can ask Diffit to generate more vocabulary words from the text, or add their own terms. Diffit will then provide definitions, grammatical category and sample sentences.
- Generate more questions: If necessary, you can also ask Diffit to create more multiple-choice, short-answer, or open-ended questions.
- Translate resources: Once the resources have been generated, it is possible to translate all or parts of them into another language.
All these customization options will allow you to start from the resources automatically generated by Diffit to create content perfectly adapted to your class, without having to redo everything from scratch.
The tool then offers you to generate a multitude of activities and scenarios for the class from a model database.

Once your content is generated, Diffit makes it even easier for you to export it in different formats so you can easily use it with your students:

The platform is still under development. It deserves a test, especially since it is free for teachers. There is a Premium version for schools but the pricing conditions are not clear.
The free version of Diffit has some limitations, especially in the export formats of the resources created with the tool, but remains largely usable. Although requiring, as for all AI tools; human supervision, Diffit can significantly reduce the workload related to course preparation, leaving more time to focus on the teaching itself.
